After lunch...

I don't think all my updates are going to be this frequent, but where people sit and read newspapers, or watch crap on the tv that's in the boarding area, I write on the laptop. :-D

I have a sore neck. From all the looking back and forth that I've been doing. I'd forgotten how beautiful the women were in Australia and Sydney! Damn!

I've also got a headache, which I just bought some headache pills for. I only had less than 3 hours sleep last night, so I'm quite likely fatigued and dehydrated. I'm looking forward to sleeping tonight...

While on the plane this morning to Sydney I was reading an ebook that I downloaded ages ago. The Science of Getting Rich. I haven't had a chance to read it until now, always having found something else to do. I find it interesting that it's completely relevent to bringing wealth into my life. Here's some important notes I've copied from it, that are relative to the million dollar experiment.

The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller and more abundant life

A person’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving. The individual who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a spouse or parent, as a citizen, or as a human being. It is in the use of material things that a person finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul.

It may be asked if I can prove these statements, and without going into details I answer that I can do so, both by logic and experience.
Reasoning back from the phenomena of form and thought, I come to one original thinking substance, and reasoning forward from this thinking substance, I come to a person’s power to cause the formation of the thing he thinks about.

And by experiment, I find the reasoning true. This is my strongest proof.

A person’s way of doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks about things. To do things in the way you want to do them, you will have to acquire the ability to think the way you want to think. This is the first step toward getting rich.

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. A person can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
